Khao man gai. Chicken is super tender and has a strong chicken flavor! I had it submerged in hot water on low-medium heat for 35 mins but prob could do 30 next time.

The blood had been draining for a while, so it was actually quite oily. And after washing away the blood clots, there wasn't much dirt left. The broth was drinkable, but what a waste! It even contained chicken gizzards, hearts, and livers.

BUY THIS CHICKEN!! Don't let the size stop you from buying! Although it is on the smaller side, the chicken meat and soup from this chicken do not disappoint! My family absolutely adores the soup, and it is very easy to cook; just let it boil and sit for a while, and the meat will be extremely tender.

The prices are much better than Asian markets, the food is fresh, and it's packaged very carefully. I need to buy groceries from Wee every week, but there's no fresh food delivery service through Gofftown, so I can only order through a friend or acquaintance. It's a shame because it's so inconvenient! Hopefully, they will offer fresh food delivery through Gofftown in the future. I'll only buy from Wee and won't need to go to any other market anymore.
