The ginger is quite fresh and can be used to make soup.
I've always bought this soup base; it's great.
I boiled it thoroughly and made sundaeguk. I added frozen sundae, perilla powder, and chives, and it tastes delicious. The broth came out milky white, too. One thing to note is that there are a lot of small bone pieces.

The bone pieces are quite large; they don't look like they have much meat, but there's actually quite a bit on them. The soup made from them is very fragrant and rich.

I make the gamjatang with a mix of neck and back bones! As expected, there is plenty of meat on the neck bones, and it's nice and chewy haha. I'll definitely buy this again next time.
