These are bottle gourd (upo) I bought from Weee! I cooked them by sauteing them in oil with minced garlic, onions, tomatoes. Add shrimp or ground pork. Add water and soy sauce. Let it simmer. Finally add vermicelli which you soaked in hot water prior to adding to the mixture.
Way better looking upos here than at the big-boxed stores!
Today's delivery was terrible; I bought two and both were damaged.
