Sato's Kirimochi is consistently delicious. It has cuts in it, so I cut it into small pieces and give it to my kids or put it in a hot pot.
They're exactly the same as the ones sold in Japan. They're individually packaged, pre-scored, and delicious, so I buy them every year. I appreciate the thoughtful touch of having the expiration date written on each one.

this was good, if you like chocolate buy this. it has cocoa powder on the outside and a chocolate fudge-ish filling inside.
I only remembered to post a review after I finished eating! It was delicious! The sweetness was okay, but the cocoa powder got soggy.
There are two small chocolate mochi pieces inside. Since they are stored frozen, the texture may be hard if eaten immediately, so please take them out and let them sit at room temperature for a while before eating to enjoy a chewy texture. They are not overly sweet. The downsides are that the mochi are shipped flattened, and there isn't as much chocolate filling as I expected.
