It's the perfect size for one person. The rice that can be cooked without rinsing isn't actually washed; apparently, during milling, air is used to blow away dust, husks, and other debris. However, I still gently stir the water after adding it, change the water, and then cook it. You can't scrub this kind of rice too hard, as it will damage the grains. It's delicious!
