First time to buy this pack of baby scallops
It had a slightly fishy smell, so I added a little cooking wine. After grilling, there was no fishy smell at all, and it was very tender!
After thawing, there's barely any fishy smell. They're smaller than average, but the meat is tender and sweeter. When pan-frying, wipe off any surface moisture and simply pan-fry with butter or a little oil until both sides are lightly golden brown. They'll be fragrant on the outside and tender on the inside. Steaming is also a great option; they're especially delicious with garlic and vermicelli or simply steamed.
The seafood shells are large and look exceptionally good; I would definitely buy them again.

After frying, this scallop is as tough as rubber and hard to chew! It is much worse than another brand I usually buy. I don’t know if it is because the manufacturer has frozen it for too long or it is a quality problem.

Don't buy it, it's fake or super poor quality! Like others states, it's rubbery and not even sashimi grade. I thought they were wild from Japan but it's processed in CHINA hence the uniformity, which makes it even more suspicious.
