I made mala tang soup. It's less salty and oily than store-bought mala tang sauce, so I love it. Make a mala paste by sautéing peppercorn oil, ground peppercorns, red pepper powder, olive oil, five-spice powder, and a little salt.

This garlic sauce is truly an all-purpose sauce; you can use it for barbecue, clam and vermicelli soup, shrimp and vermicelli soup, grilled eggplant, and garlic enoki mushrooms.
Wo Ai Ni Tan Tan Xiang chopped chili sauce has saved many of my almost ruined dishes. So delicious, and goes perfectly with rice. (The rice noodle soup in the picture wasn't ruined.)
The price has gone up and it's a bit expensive because it's a very small bottle, but it tastes great.

I really like the numbing sensation of Sichuan peppercorns! The bottle isn't big, and I haven't tried it yet, but I believe the taste should be pretty good. I'll leave another review after I try it!
