I always order it, it's delicious
I have made P. Rican Homemade Pasteles for a long time now. I can instantly "Taste" Generic versions...These Goya Pork Pasteles are absolutely perfect in flavor. I boil them with water level half way up the Pasteles. It boils for 45 minutes & it's the closest texture & flavor to the "Real" thing! Not only are they a quick simple way to afford a traditional P. Rican holiday dish, but Goya used real Banana leaves which gives it a more authentic flavor. These pasteles fill U up on its own & I'm seriously buying more & serving it with White Rice, Tostones & avocado Salad!

The cupcakes had a chiffon-like texture and contained unsweetened whipped cream as the reviews said. I think the whipped cream had a little lemon juice in it. It was 8.99 for 4 pieces. I thought it would be a good snack to have with friends for tea.

The cod fritters were very good. I made them in the Air Fryer and they came out golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside. The cod flavor was delicious and they also arrived very well stored, in thermal packaging with ice.

I love empanadas and decided to try this chicken empanada for our “baon” on our road trip. I air fried it at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. I used parchment paper so no oiling of tray. I did not use egg wash either. Empanadas came out delicious. The crust is not overwhelming. It is tasty and crunchy. The filling is delicious. This will definitely be a constant in my freezer from now on. Yummy.
