They're really big, I love them
The eggplants were firm and fresh. They were the perfect size for my eggplant Parmesan I was planning on baking this week. The color was a solid deep color with no visible discoloration.

There were three bottles in the package, including a small one. The small one had a small scratch on it, but it wasn't bad enough to warrant a return, so I continued using it. There were no problems.

The eggplant I bought before was amazing. It was purple and long, so it was hard to use and went bad quickly, so I changed it to a Japanese one.
The eggplant is very fresh and tender, but the packaging needs to be improved. It was damaged when it arrived.
I thought it might be a little old, so I cooked it as soon as possible, and had it made into eggplant miso. It was delicious.

Miso soup is an essential part of my life, but when I don't have time to make it, instant miso soup is a quick and easy option. It's a lifesaver! The flavor is rich and delicious!
It dissolves more easily than the raw miso type, which is great. I'm also happy that the eggplant pieces are chunky.
Since they're freeze-dried, all you have to do is open the individual packaging and add hot water, so it's hassle-free, and all the flavors are delicious.
Delicious & convenient! 20 freeze dried packets individually wrapped of 4 flavors of white miso blend - tofu, agedashi/fried tofu, vegetables (wakame/cabbage/carrots pictured) & eggplant. Pour hot water and done! Great for quick meal side at home or much needed heartiness when camping/traveling.
