I fell in love with rice wine the first time I drank it in Seoul. The taste is similar to that of old white wine, but the alcohol content is low, so I won't get drunk even if I drink a lot. I'm thinking about visiting a rice wine factory next time I visit Korea. I bought this rice wine kit and I can start a small workshop at home. It's easy to make, tastes good, and is fun.

They sell makgeolli kits! I bought them because they were interesting. But I like regular original makgeolli better, and this kit has three unique flavors, so that's a bit disappointing.
It's so good that it has courage too. I'm looking forward to it.
As soon as I got here, I decided to make it! I followed the instructions. I measured out 1L and when I drank it after 24 hours, it still tasted a bit watery and had a makgeolli flavor on the outside. So I left it at room temperature for a little over 12 hours and had it lightly for lunch, and it tasted much better. I think it would be better to let it mature for at least two days instead of one day and drink it with a little less water than 1L! The taste is not as good as real makgeolli, but it's not bad.
It's simple and delicious!! It seems to have almost no alcohol content and is much sweeter and less carbonated than regular makgeolli. I often buy it to drink with friends when I miss makgeolli.

It's not bad, it feels like a slightly thinner kind of fermented rice.

I just drank the whole bottle without even realizing it. It was amazing, sweet without being too sweet, refreshing, satisfying and subtle rice flavor with a hint of what tastes like vanilla.
