I pan-fry small rice cakes with eggs; they're soft, chewy, and less sweet. They taste even better if you use an air fryer. I buy several every New Year and pile them up at home.

purple potato: cream and potato filling. the filling was a little grainy but paired well with the cream custard: custard filling without cream mango: mango custard with cream mango was the best flavor, and all three were dusted with coconut shavings. each mochi is about 4in in diameter, so very large and filling. you're supposed to eat all three the same day they arrive.
