I just broke down a no-name brand blender. I received the Joyoung one today. The Joyoung's blades and motor are integrated with the lid, so you can remove them together after making soy milk. This way, the inside is empty after pouring out the soy milk, making cleaning extremely convenient. Secondly, because the lid is integrated with the body, it's quite heavy and won't be pushed open by boiling soy milk. My old one broke because it overflowed and caused a power outage. I just bought it, and the indicator light on the display panel doesn't light up when selecting options. I'll check if there's a problem.
This blender works quite well; it makes rice paste very smooth. It's a little noisy, but tolerable. A countdown timer would be even better.

My second soymilk maker! the first one I had was $250 from same brand but I broke it by accident. I tell you honestly, I do not find performance difference! more expensive one just look more fashion and have lcd display plus delay cook function. quality of milk is the same to me! Best cost ratio: fill the cup half soy bean half rice. the rice will thicken it do you don’t have to strain it so you put in 1200mL you get 1200mL!!

The functions are divided into very detailed parts, and the sound is much lighter than the old version.
Full of soy milk, tempting taste, will make you full of energy! I didn't filter the dregs, although it's not so fine, it's acceptable
