Japanese rice is delicious. I buy this product occasionally.
This is the third bag of this brand of rice; it is sushi quality rice. Love it. Honestly, I wanted to try other brand but was not sure they are new crop or rest of the last season’s. That is why I got the same one again. Does anyone let me know if all others are new crop or not?
The rice arrived on June 24th, and the milling date was November 26th of last year. It was milled exactly seven months ago. Rice is heavy, so I appreciate the delivery service. I like this rice, but I'm still trying other types to see the differences in grain size, taste, and texture, and to figure out what type of rice I prefer.

This is my second purchase. It is delicious!
It has a lot of moisture and shine, and is chewy when freshly cooked. It's delicious whether you eat it the next day or thaw it after freezing it. This time, it's more expensive than what I usually eat, but I'm very satisfied.
After the bad rice I bought at the Asian market the other day (50 pounds!), I'm happy to have this rice. There was no odor and the rice balls were delicious even the next day, and my child started taking them to school again.
