I never imagined that New York would find out about such delicious Taiwanese rice dumplings.
Must-eat for Dragon Boat Festival - Yi Mei products, quality guaranteed.
I-Mei's products are never bad. The moment you open the package, you smell the fragrance of bamboo leaves, and when you bite into it, you taste the filling. Five fist-sized ones cost more than $18, which is a bit pricey. They must have been flown in.
The seasoning is different from what I used to get at Hakka steamed bun shops in Taiwan. But the taste is still good, with a hint of satay sauce. People who like chewy, sticky foods should enjoy it.
Step on a landmine! Not delicious, not delicious at all! The outer skin is slightly sweet, and the inner filling is like moist meat floss, which is also slightly sweet. The meat is not shapeless and rotten.
It really tastes like the ones my grandma used to make when I was a kid, but it's a little expensive
Hakka rice dumplings are made of glutinous rice cakes with shredded radish and fried meat as the filling. They are salty and sweet and quite delicious.
First time buying, it's delicious, but a bit expensive
