This sausage is very firm, with a garlicky and roasted fruitwood aroma. It's delicious to slice it and eat it as a snack!

As a native of Harbin, I can say with certainty that this sausage has absolutely nothing to do with Harbin red sausage. Whether it's the appearance, texture, or taste, it has nothing to do with Harbin red sausage. It's all flour inside, more like the cheap ham sausages I ate as a child. You could eat it as a regular ham sausage, but the price is inappropriate. I bought it because a review said it tasted like home—that's definitely a fake review. This is at best a regular ham sausage. I would never buy it again. Don't be fooled, fellow Harbin native!

Absolutely pleased with this product…depending on your “heat” index…this either medium for those who like heat or too hot for those with those who think jalapeños are too extreme. Good flavor…excellent as a “snack” on rice (as I did). I’ll have to get more and try it in my wok with additional items (leaning towards spinach and udon noodles).
