I'm so happy that I can easily make kinpira gobo (braised burdock root). I'm looking forward to trying it out.
There was a bit less burdock root than I expected. But I bought it because it was convenient.

Since burdock root is expensive, these frozen foods are a lifesaver. No need to chop it either. I happened to have some shredded carrots, so I added them to increase the volume.
It arrived partially thawed. There was nothing wrong with the product itself, and I enjoyed it very much when I made kinpira gobo (braised burdock root).
It's convenient because it's easy and quick to cook, whether you use it in kinpira gobo (braised burdock root), mixed rice dishes, or miso soup.

The prices are much better than Asian markets, the food is fresh, and it's packaged very carefully. I need to buy groceries from Wee every week, but there's no fresh food delivery service through Gofftown, so I can only order through a friend or acquaintance. It's a shame because it's so inconvenient! Hopefully, they will offer fresh food delivery through Gofftown in the future. I'll only buy from Wee and won't need to go to any other market anymore.
