This dried black fungus looks natural in color and is uniform in size, with good dryness. However, it has a strong, pungent sour smell when opened, which may raise concerns about its quality. Normal, high-quality dried black fungus usually has only a faint woody, mushroom, or natural dried goods aroma and should not have a noticeable sour or irritating odor.
