Stir-fry with chili peppers to make spicy pickled radish, which is perfect for wrapping in rice balls.
I bought it to make preserved radish omelet. The preserved radish was already cut, which was very convenient. I soaked it in water for a little while to remove the saltiness.
This preserved radish wasn't too salty. I soaked and rinsed it twice before cooking. I stir-fried the dried preserved radish in a dry wok, and today I used half a pack of whole preserved radish to make an egg omelet.
Very Taiwanese flavor, I plan to add it to rice balls.
Always have this in pantry! Gives dishes an umami flavor!
I would buy the dried radish again if the portion was generous.
Taiwanese-made ones are definitely worth supporting; they're delicious in rice balls or with preserved radish omelets.
