Awesome for making dashi! For use in soups and other things!
I enjoy using this item to add flavor in the beginning of my stocks. One bag lasts a long time.
Great! Nice, large pieces of kombu. You can use them to make dashi stock. It's a bit easier to make dashi from kombu when you soak the kombu in water for maybe half an hour before making stock.
This kelp is delicious. The leftover kelp from the kelp broth can be used for stewing.
Very clean seaweed...^_^
Favourite for kombu dashi
I ordered this because Ottogi sliced kelp wasn't available.
It's fine. The size is just right, and it's good.
It contains plenty of large pieces of kelp. After making broth with the kelp and bonito flakes, I like to make tsukudani (simmered food) with the leftover kelp and bonito flakes.
It's just seaweed, it's alright, you can eat it like any other vegetable.

Kelp knots are easy to clean and require no washing; I'm preparing to make braised pork.
It tastes pretty good and is perfect for making soup.
Essential for braised dishes; dried goods are easy to store and convenient.
Now I know the kelp in braised dishes is dried and soaked in water, hahaha
must have. I do use it just to flavor the rice but it's perfect because it's not flat and fits on my tiny rice cooker. when I make sushi I put one knot inside the 3cup rice.
This is a must-have for braised meat. Soak it in water before cooking, and it will only take 5-10 minutes!
I've repurchased this many times, but it feels like the quantity isn't as large as before.
It can be stored for a long time; just soak it in water when needed, which is very convenient.
