Since there's quite a lot of it, I cut it up and freeze it to make it last longer. It smells great and is an essential ingredient in Thai cuisine.

I haven't used it yet, but the blade looks sharp and seems like it will grind well. However, I am a little worried that it might grind the plastic. If it isn't inserted properly or if there is a lot of food causing the blade to tilt while grinding, the internal plastic could get ground as well.
