I bought this specifically to make Old Beijing-style fried sauce noodles. These noodles are the round, thick kind, and they're incredibly chewy and springy after cooking, perfectly replicating the feel of hand-pulled noodles. Most importantly, they hold the sauce exceptionally well; when mixed with meat sauce and cucumber shreds, every bite is flavorful, and they don't get mushy even after long cooking. If you enjoy noodles with a good texture, this is definitely the top choice, and I'll buy it again and again!

Eating this stuff dry means eating the last bit of overly salty and spicy powder soaked crumbs.
This was too basic and didn’t taste like mala.
