First time trying willow leaf cake. The outside filling is a bit like wonton, the inside filling is fried sticky rice with dried shrimp and peanuts. It tastes quite strange.

Very disappointed. The filling is nothing but sticky rice. Very plain and no flavor. I was so excited to see this item on Wee but now I regret buying it.
My first time in years eating perng kueh. Inside has sticky rice, peanuts, lots of black peppers (like what other reviewer mentioned), and some small dried shrimps and green onions. You can only taste black pepper, unfortunately. So just have to add lots of soy sauce and spicy satay. Overall okay will buy again. I just microwaved mine, maybe need to try frying it

Not very tasty... The filling of Chaoshan red peach cake is glutinous rice, shrimp, peanuts and pepper, but the skin is very sticky and elastic and chewy glutinous rice skin, and it is soft after steaming.
