It's a great dessert, but I'm not entirely sure if it's actually eight-treasure rice pudding The instructions say to steam it directly in the original plastic packaging, but I took it out and steamed it in a bowl. It's probably much thinner than eight-treasure rice pudding, or maybe my bowl wasn't covered with plastic wrap and got a lot of water inside.

It tasted awful. The mochi was mochi, the taro paste was taro paste, and the glutinous rice was glutinous rice...
The coconut jelly eight-treasure rice is sweet and sticky, with a large piece of purple sweet potato inside, and it tastes great.
I tried another flavor of eight-treasure rice and it was delicious, I hope this one will be just as good.
It wasn't very sweet, and the middle was mochi, which was sticky. The taste wasn't as delicious as I'd imagined.
Not particularly amazing, just small.

The purple rice filling is generously filled with purple sweet potato. The purple rice is sweet, with a perfect level of sweetness, and the purple sweet potato is pure purple sweet potato! It doesn't seem to have any additives. The yellow filling has a salad dressing filling, which tastes a lot like egg salad dressing—sweet and salty, we'll see if that's to our liking. The outer yellow layer is coconut flakes.
