The Classic! So happy to find it here, it is made in the USA but its an old fashioned Thai dessert. Add fresh fruit or canned fruit cocktail or just enjoy on it’s own! Sometimes I will use soy or almond milk for half of the water volume and make a creamier, higher protein dessert. Either way, its healthy and delicious!
Delicious and only need to add water
It was easy to make. The instructions said to boil it, which made me a little worried for a moment, but since agar is the main ingredient, it solidified properly. It has a firm texture, and personally, I preferred cutting it into cubes rather than eating it in chunks with a spoon. The taste is what you'd expect for the price, but I'm satisfied considering the reasonable price.

The prices are much better than Asian markets, the food is fresh, and it's packaged very carefully. I need to buy groceries from Wee every week, but there's no fresh food delivery service through Gofftown, so I can only order through a friend or acquaintance. It's a shame because it's so inconvenient! Hopefully, they will offer fresh food delivery through Gofftown in the future. I'll only buy from Wee and won't need to go to any other market anymore.

It brings back memories. When you think of Japanese sweets, you think of anmitsu, right? I had it chilled.
Although it is packaged, it is around the sides. When I received it, it was placed with other frozen foods, but the glass jar was facing down. So, the packaging is actually useless. Without packaging on the top and bottom, it is still possible to break the glass bottle. The location of the product is more important. I often buy this brand of fermented glutinous rice and still eat it in summer, sometimes with glutinous rice balls and taro balls.
