I cooked Ginisang Monggo yesterday, and my husband (American) really loves the Ginisang Monggo, and We ate it this dinner again, and I still have more in the fridge I'll try to finish it tomorrow. Pinoy foods are never boring to cook especially with Kanin. Perfect partner to these Pinoy Ulam and really great Pinoy ulam, whether simple or fancy, Kanin is definitely included!! I bought this because the reviews were good. It’s a perfect balance of sweet and salty. The seasoning is stronger than I expected, so you don't need to add much. It tastes great after using furikake instead of seasoned salt, adding extra Korean seasoned seaweed flakes, and some sesame oil.
