Tofu is now available in American supermarkets, but even those labeled "soft" are often quite firm, and if it's too soft, it can only be used for smoothies. However, this tofu has just the right firmness and a smooth texture. Because it doesn't crumble easily, it can be enjoyed not only in dishes like miso soup and mapo tofu, but also as chilled tofu.

This American-made soft tofu is packaged so that it’s shelf-stable and doesn’t need to be refrigerated unless you don’t use it all after opening. Besides its convenience, it tastes pretty good and doesn’t have preservatives.

I was drinking Danshe diluted with water, but it felt a bit lacking, so I tried mixing it with black bean soy milk and it tasted like misugaru. Since I was buying more, I decided to give it a try with something that looked good.

The sesame oil is nutty and delicious.

This rice is perfect for everyday meals, characterized by its fluffy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. It pairs well with Japanese cuisine and tastes great even when cold, making it ideal for bento boxes and rice balls. I'm a repeat customer!
